Acceptable Use
Last updated 10 October 2026
Pop Out is a student map, not an open listing board. These rules sit on top of the Terms. Break them and we can remove content, tickets, or the account. Report a problem to official.popout.app@gmail.com.
Accounts
- Do not fake a student ID, use someone else’s ID, or run extra accounts to dodge a ban.
- Do not scrape, probe, or try to break the app, dashboard, or other people’s accounts.
- Do not buy, sell, or share Pop Out accounts.
Listings and the map
- Only list a casual night you actually host, or a ticketed night you are authorised to sell.
- Do not publish a casual pin’s address, or anyone’s phone number, without their say-so.
- Do not list events that are a scam, impersonate another venue, or use photos you do not have rights to.
- Do not use Pop Out to organise anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, or humiliate anyone.
- Keep listings honest: time, price, and what the night actually is.
Tickets
- Resale must be at face value. No markup, bundles that hide a markup, or touting.
- Do not list tickets you do not hold.
- Do not try to dodge the 6% venue commission or Stripe’s rules.
How you treat people
- No hate, sexual content involving anyone under 18, or content that exploits students.
- Hosts should not approve people in order to harm them. Guests should not turn up to a night they were not approved for.
- Do not spam join requests, reviews, or business access forms.
What we will do
We can hide a pin, cancel tickets, freeze a venue dashboard, or close an account. We may keep records of a breach. If we believe there is a serious safety or criminal risk we may involve the police.
